Got an artificial Christmas in your home and looking for ways to get them out after the holidays? We’ve got you!
Check out the tips below and you’ll find just how you can get rid of your trees after the break:
SELL THE TREE
Selling your tree for interested buyers is a more lucrative option if your tree is still in good shape. The selling price is up to you, and you get to negotiate until you reach a mutually comfortable agreement.
Give it out
Donating your trees to nonprofits and charities is a good way to get rid of them. Some thrift and retail stores will take your trees if they are still in good shape. Additionally, you can donate your good-quality trees to hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. Contact any organization you think might benefit from such a donation.
DÉCORATE IN A HOME-FRIENDLY MANNER
Your artificial Christmas tree can be transformed into a home-friendly craft. You can cut off the top of the tree and place it in a mason jar or any vase. Decorate your dining table or living room with it.
You can also make other amazing home décor crafts using the other parts of your tree. Beautiful door wreaths are a great idea. Bend the branches of the tree into curves after they have been cut off. Create a circle by interlacing branches and connecting them with a wire or zip tie.
Using the small twigs of the tree, you can make beautiful napkin rings.
DISPOSE OF TREE IN BITS
When it cannot be sold, donated or reused, your flocked tree has reached the end of its lifecycle. Now is the time to let go of it. Dispose of the trees in normal trash after cutting into small bits.
