Tips on decorating a white flocked artificial Christmas tree

Christmas trees began to be flocked in the 1940s. Traditionally, Christmas tree flocking kits were sold to make trees appear snow-covered.

But today, more people are buying artificial Christmas trees with flocking already attached to them.

Start with a Theme

Decorating a Christmas tree with white flocked ornaments isn’t that different from decorating a normal green tree.

Nevertheless, there are a few tips that will help your flocked artificial Christmas tree to look more polished.

Create a unique white flocked artificial Christmas tree with the right color scheme. A white flocked tree can still look amazing with the ornaments you normally choose, but many people say it looks the best with only one or two colors.

Add Lights

Add unusual colors, such as purple, yellow, or pink, to complement white flock on the tree, such as yellow.

String lights across the tree’s branches closest to its center. Because of the white color of the Christmas tree, lights will shine through its branches, illuminating the flock.

It’s fine to place one color near the tree’s center and another near the branch’s outer edges if you believe that will enhance the tree’s beauty. This way, the tree appears more three-dimensional.

Make the branches of the tree look festive by adding bows and ribbons. A cloth bow or ribbon decorates your Christmas tree to give it a more traditional appearance.

Use bows or ribbons of the same color or a complementary color to your tree ornaments. Around the tree, the bows can be tied at different intervals, up and down the branches.

Wrap the ribbon around the tree starting at the top and working your way down.

To make your white flocked artificial Christmas tree stand out, you can decorate it with a tree skirt of the same color as the lights or your decorations.
